Are you constantly pulled in various directions only to realize you’ve drifted from His presence?

The enemy isn’t always loud. Sometimes he lures with a scroll 📱, a notification 🔔 , a sudden “to-do” ✅, a sudden bombardment of anxious, racing, worrisome thoughts, or more insidious is the good thing we received by grace but have somehow managed to turn it into a place of striving—making it a weight🪨.

The enemy entices you with distraction and then condemns you because of the distraction; don’t let him. He is a liar!

CRUSH🔨 the serpent’s 🐍 head by reframing distraction.

Instead of seeing it as lost time and a cosmic failure, see it as a divine invitation to build an altar! By the Spirit we can give glory to God and be strengthened by Him amid distraction!

Fight Back with Holy Intention:

• Identify and Pause. Distraction can be a trigger but we can use it as a call to a place of intention. Let it become a signal, not a stumble.

• Erect an altar: Not a literal one, but a heart posture. The natural instinct is to keep scrolling or spiraling. Break the cycle. Be intentional. Disrupt through stillness. Right in the middle of the chaos; place another stone in honor of God.

• Behold. In the moment of temptation, or mental wandering— acknowledge His presence. Look for Him. Look to Him because He is there!

• Offer a sacrifice of praise. Whisper, “Jesus, You are worthy,” or “Jesus, help me,” or simply “Jesus.” His name carries authority, power, and declares victory.

• Return to the Word: Don’t let anything steal the moment of this encounter. Go further. Fight for time with Him. You’ve come too far in the process to walk away without a blessing: Let Him replenish and strengthen you. Take the LORD with you by means of the Word.

Remember, Jesus is greater than the pull of distraction and more satisfying than the noise.

Let’s reclaim our attention, fix our affections, ending the enemy’s assault on our minds, one stone at a time.

Imagine how the atmosphere would shift if every distraction we utilized as the doorway to a deeper devotion to God.

Friend, let me tell you: Jesus is the Treasure.
Not only is He the prize, but He is the promise: you can walk uprightly in a world marked by chaos, compromise, and confusion.

Even when the world grows dark, the light of Christ only shines stronger. As we trust in Jesus—the Righteous One—we begin to reign in every area of our lives.

“…Much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17.

So, what does righteousness look like in real life? It’s not about perfection—it’s about posture.

᪥ Surrendering to Jesus instead of striving
᪥ Choosing rest when the world demands hustle
᪥ Trusting God’s justice over reacting in your flesh
᪥ Holding peace when panic tempts you
᪥ Letting go of false identities to live fully in Christ
᪥ Reflecting light instead of fighting for attention
᪥ It looks like JESUS

And when you walk this path👣…

• Your eyes open to deeper truths
• Your steps are ordered with purpose
• Your pace slows—and your heart finds rest
• Your identity is rooted in Christ, not culture
• Your life shines for others still searching in the dark

Let this encourage you today:

• You are not alone on this path
• You are not forgotten in the valley
• You are not powerless in the waiting
• You are not unworthy of the promise
• You are never too far to be restored

Beloved, allow His presence guide you fully.

✨ Stillness is not stagnation. It’s a sacred invitation to remain rooted and deeply aligned with God’s voice.
🕊️ There is holy work in the pause. Don’t confuse divine preparation with delay.
🔥 Oil is cultivated in hiddenness. The anointing flows in the quiet before the commission.
💧 The ache you feel is hunger, not absence. God is drawing you closer, not pushing you away.
🌿 Excitement must be tethered to obedience. Zeal without alignment leads to striving, not fruitfulness.
💡 We can’t live on borrowed oil. Yesterday’s filling won’t sustain today’s assignment.
💍 Bridal affections are stirred in the stillness. Return, remain, and be revived in His presence.
🌸 Not every bloom means go. Sometimes, full bloom is God’s cue to stay and be still.
📖 The Word nourishes in the quiet. In stillness, revelation flows like rain on fertile ground.
🪔 Preparation precedes promotion. God forms us before He sends us.
🌬 Whispers carry weight. In a world full of noise, His whisper becomes the clearest guide.
💗 Return is a rhythm. God’s heart is never far—He calls us back gently, again and again.
🛑 Pause is a posture. Waiting is worship when it’s rooted in trust.
🌾 Depth over display. God grows roots before He reveals fruit.
👑 Holiness before harvest. Consecration always comes before commission.

Have you ever been captivated by just a few words of Scripture, where even a single phrase feels like a divine whisper reminding you that God is already at work behind the scenes?

Recently, my time in the Bible has consisted of the Lord meeting me through a beautiful collection of words that dazzle off the page, dance in my mind, and are sealed in my heart.

Instead of the whole passage, the verses come alive word-by-word, tiny morsels so sweet to my taste. Sometimes, it is only one word, and others, a few in a row, but there is breath on them, and life imparted as I read them.

Has this happened to you?

It happened again during our Bible study this week. Our leader discussed our Lord’s abundant provision in Christ as he read from John 6.

Eight words woven in the miracle of the loaves and fishes caught my eye, and they glistened like sun rays, “For He Himself knew what He would do.” John‬ ‭6‬:‭6‬.”

Did you catch that?

Let that simmer♨️

The disciples were in a predicament🤔 but Jesus already had the answer; indeed, Jesus is the answer!

Our Abba Father is wonderful at securing us in the truth about Him.

He is God. (Isaiah 45:5)
He is good. (Psalm 100:5)
He is faithful. (Psalm 36:5)
He is our help. (Psalm 44:1)
He is in control. (Colossians 1:16-17)
He is the source of every blessing. (James 1:17)
He knows our needs and has already prepared for them. (Matthew 6:32)

Beloved, we don’t need to fret; we can accept the Lord’s invitation and enjoy His rest. This weekend, contemplate our sacred provision in God our Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

Ponder the stunning truth: the Triune God holds space for us, and there is abundant provision in Him.

Beloved, what if you lived like every promise of God was already fulfilled in Christ?

Not just hoped for. Not just someday. But done—sealed by the One who cannot lie!

Hebrews 6:18 says, “So that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us.”

This isn’t wishful thinking—this is an anchor for the soul—the Truth we get to stand on. God didn’t stutter. He didn’t exaggerate. He spoke, and it stands.

So here’s what that means for us:

✨ It’s impossible for God to lie.
He is not a man that He should change His mind. Every word He speaks is truth. Stand on it like solid ground.

✨. You are secure in Christ.
You didn’t earn your salvation—and you can’t lose it. You were sealed by grace, not works. The Cross is complete.

✨ You are an heir of the promise.
Galatians 3 says that if you belong to Christ, you are Abraham’s seed. That means every promise God made is now part of your inheritance.

✨ You can trust Him in the waiting.
Even when life feels topsy-turvy, He is still multiplying what He’s entrusted to you. Expect blessing. Expect increase. Expect Him.

✨ You are anchored beyond the veil.
Jesus is your forerunner—your High Priest who went ahead of you. Your hope is not fragile. It is firm, fast, and eternal.

So, beloved, what would change if you lived as though every promise of God is already fulfilled in Christ?

Not just knew His Word, but declared it, stood on it, and let it shape how you move, pray, speak, and live?

Let your life testify that God is faithful. His Word is true. And His hope never fails.

May we also remember the words of our Lord Jesus, clinging to each one, for they are Spirit and life.

“Who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.” Romans‬ ‭4‬:‭25‬.

—Justified

“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭21‬.

—Righteous

We are witnesses of His grace, testifying to His limitless power. We are partakers of eternal life and children of the Promise. Let us behold Him with awe and wonder, and steward the miracle He has allowed us to experience.

Abba Father,

You loved us to the end, allowing Jesus to taste death for us that we would have eternal life in His name. We behold Him, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. We praise You for we are found in You and everywhere we are—You reign!

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Happy Resurrection Day🕊️

Friend, have you ever felt like your story is stitched together more by sorrow than Salvation? Like the weight of your experiences speak louder than God’s promises?

I know I have🙋🏾‍♀️. In my latest blog post, I talk about my personal walk of trading condemnation for Christ-centered compassion. Here’s an excerpt:

Sometimes, I’ve revisited my past experiences only to fault-find and scrutinize every decision. In these moments, I became increasingly self-conscious, though, at the time, I would proclaim I was “self-aware,” but in reality, it was rooted in regret and shame.

It was a slippery slope where I spiraled into self-loathing and, sometimes, self-harm. The cycle was often a place of rinse and repeat, but never coming into complete deliverance because the lens I used was me, and with me at the apex, there was no grace in that space. Christianity is hard when we see life through our wounds instead of the finished work of Christ.

By the Spirit, we can shift our perspective from dwelling on our wounds to embracing His scars.

“For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.” John‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬.

Five Keys🗝️

✝️ Acknowledge Christ—remember that He is present, and we stand in His presence. Remain in the secret place.

🤲🏾 Surrender to Jesus—actively place everything into His nail-pierced hands. This isn’t a one time event but something we do repeatedly.

👀 Reframe the Narrative✍️🏾—see life through the cross. Then ask the Lord to show you how to filter everything through His purposes and promises.

👣 Walk in ✞ Redemption—embrace each step as a place of healing and moving forward. We may stumble, but it is an upward stumbling in Christ because it isn’t based on what we do but on what Christ has done.

🩹Wounds a Space for Worship🙌🏾—set up remembrance stones to reflect on His glory and worship Him for all the miracles, large and small. Let’s allow our scars to be the witness of His love, kindness, and the power of the Gospel.

Hi Friends👋🏾, did you know hearing the voice of God is the birthright of every born-again believer? It isn't striving—His blood paid for it!

Beloved, the message from the Lord is to take hold of our inheritance in Him. If we learn nothing more from Esau let it be this: though he was the rightful heir of the firstborn blessing, he gave it away carelessly—and that alone should speak volumes to us.

A vital part of our spiritual heritage is the great and precious promises Jesus purchased with His blood—and among them is the gift of hearing His voice and the grace to respond.

Remember, before we knew Jesus, before we ever looked in His direction—He was pursuing us so that we would know God in every aspect. He is not hiding from us—the God who is everywhere delights being acknowledged somewhere.

When we respond to the call of salvation, it’s because we 𝒽ℯ𝒶𝓇𝒹 the wooing of the Spirit bidding our hearts, “Come.”

We 𝒽ℯ𝒶𝓇 the Gospel of our Lord Jesus cry out, “Forgiven,” as we gaze upon the cross, and receive His righteousness as gift, as our eyes fastened upon the empty tomb—He is speaking.

We 𝒽ℯ𝒶𝓇𝒹 the heart of God beating as He whispered, “I love you” and “You are Mine,” not because of anything we’d done but because it is who He is—Love is speaking.

ℋ𝒾𝓈 𝓅𝓇ℯ𝓈ℯ𝓃𝒸ℯ 𝒾𝓈 𝓋ℴ𝒾𝒸ℯ!

Child of God, we hear Him every day, and in various ways, He makes Himself known to us. Let the reality of our inheritance in Christ stir your heart. We are the sheep of His pasture, and we hear His voice. Lean into the truth. Open His Word. Sit in His presence. Respond to the gentle leading of His Spirit. Take a moment today to listen—ℋℯ’𝓈 𝒶𝓁𝓌𝒶𝓎𝓈 𝓈𝓅ℯ𝒶𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔.

Friend, have you ever paused to realize that your life may be the only “Gospel” some people will ever see? It is an awesome thought.

What if the way we speak, serve, and endure hardship is the clearest picture of Jesus someone will encounter?

The more I walk with Jesus the more I see the Gospel isn’t just a message to be preached—it’s the Way we live.

As we embrace the grace of our Lord Jesus in everyday moments, it powerfully shapes our actions and reflects our hope in Him. The Gospel’s transformative power is a beacon of hope for those in our sphere of influence.

🕊️ Living the Gospel Daily 🕊️

1️⃣ Grounded in Grace
The Gospel, from start to finish, is rooted in His grace. It’s not about striving but receiving a free gift through faith.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8.

Grace is the fertile soil from which the fruit of the Spirit blooms—like Aarons’s rod. We are God’s canvas displaying the resurrection life.

“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭4.

Today, lean into His grace, where the Gospel life thrives.

2️⃣ It Is Finished
Jesus has paid it all. The cross has silenced every accusation, wiped out every debt, and secured our righteousness. Walk in the freedom of His finished work—our firm foundation.

“It is finished.” John 19:30

3️⃣ Christ at the Center
In a world filled with noise and distractions, transformation comes from fixing our gaze on Jesus. He is the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Let’s continue to bow our hearts towards Him. A life centered on Christ is a life shaped by the finished work.

“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus…” Hebrews 12:2.

Are we living as those born of the Spirit, or are we still reaching for what is comfortable—inferior?

We were never created to live by our own strength, striving, or self-effort. From the very beginning, God intended us to live by His Spirit. The finished work of Jesus didn’t just rescue us—it redefined our entire way of being. It transformed how we live, move, breathe, and respond in this world.

Now born of the Spirit, we’ve been invited into resurrection life—one rooted in God’s rest, not human performance. We don’t labor to produce fruit; it flows naturally as we abide in the Vine. One of the most powerful things we can do is fully embrace our identity in Christ and pursue deeper intimacy with Him. As we do, we begin to walk in the reality that we are heirs, ambassadors, and carriers of His authority.

We were never meant to return to the familiar patterns of the flesh when the Spirit of God now dwells in us. Jesus didn’t lay down His life so we could live mediocre, earth-bound lives. He rose again so we could live as He is—in this world.

The call is to awaken, perceive, and walk in step with the Spirit.

Remember:
💫We are born of the Spirit, not the flesh—our Source of life and light has changed.
💫The finished work of Jesus enables us to live supernatural, not inferior lives.
💫Spiritual fruit is not performance—it’s the evidence of identity in Christ.
💫The flesh is familiar, but the Spirit leads us into freedom, not striving.
💫Our humanity is the canvas for God’s glory, not a hindrance.
💫We fight from victory, not for victory.
💫To live by the Spirit is to abide, surrender, and walk in truth—that is true worship.

✅ Silence the lies. Psalm 63:11 says, “The mouths of liars will be silenced.” That includes the enemy’s lies about your identity, purpose, and worth. The biggest battle is often in our minds.

✅ Victory is more than a title—it’s a lifestyle.
Just because we have authority in Christ doesn’t mean it is automatic. We must relish Hin, and step into His victory through faith and obedience.

✅ The Church needs to reclaim true victory. It’s not just about a breakthrough moment—it’s about endurance, faithfulness, and intimacy with Christ.

Jesus makes it clear in Luke 14:28-33—following Him requires counting the cost. And let’s be real: the price is high because it will cost you who you’ve been and who you are. But the cost of not following Him? That’s far greater.

🏆Victory comes at a cost. When Jesus calls us to follow Him, He isn’t asking for a casual commitment—He’s calling for complete surrender. Salvation is free, but true discipleship will cost you everything.

🏆Comfort and complacency must go. You can’t step into victory while clinging to the safety of what’s familiar. Growth demands movement. Transformation requires surrender. Letting go of the life you once knew is part of the process.

🏆It may cost relationships. Not everyone will understand your pursuit of Christ. Some friendships, connections, and habits were never meant to go where God is leading you. Are you willing to let go for the sake of your faith?

🏆Your way or His way? True victory in Christ means laying down your way of doing things and fully embracing His. It means surrendering control and saying, “Lord, my life is no longer mine. Have Your way.”

Many hesitate when they see the price tag. The fear of loneliness, rejection, or sacrifice makes people hold back. But Jesus reminds us that what we gain in Him far outweighs anything we lose. The temporary life we fight to keep is nothing compared to the eternal glory found in Christ.

So, have you counted the cost? Because the reward of following Jesus is far greater than anything you leave behind.

What’s the first thought that comes to mind when you hear the word abortion?

Most often, we think of it in terms of children. But have you ever considered how abortion can also apply to dreams, callings, and God-given purposes—things that were cut off before they ever had the chance to grow?

The enemy seeks to stop anything that carries life before it reaches full maturity. Maybe you’ve experienced the pain of a physical abortion, or perhaps you’ve suffered the death of a dream out of fear, shame, or doubt. Either way, God’s grace is greater and His love covers it all.

In the latest episode 🎙️ of Seed For The Soul, Latoya Mathews shares her story of abortion, shame, and redemption. For ten years, she asked daily, for God to forgive her—only to realize He had been forgiven the very first time she prayed.

🌷You don’t have to carry shame anymore. “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

🌷Your past does not disqualify you from your destiny. “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.” (Jeremiah 1:5)

🌷The enemy tries to steal our purpose, but Jesus came to bring life. “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10)

She tasted the Lord’s sweetness,
And her eyes beheld His glory.
With childlike faith, she trusted Him,
And the impossible became her reality.
She realized that salvation was her admission into His Kingdom—an inheritance so vast that it would take eternity to unveil.

Sometimes, we treat the Kingdom of God as if it were far off, something we will experience one day. But Jesus tells us differently:

📖 “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” — John 3:3. The implications are that once we are born again we can experience the Kingdom now! But do we?

The Greek word for see is εἶδον (eidon)—which means to perceive, understand, experience, and discern. This isn’t just about looking at something—it’s about stepping into it.

Salvation isn’t about escaping hell; it’s about a relationship with the Living God and entering a Kingdom where heaven’s reality becomes our own, 𝓃ℴ𝓌. Oh friends, my mind has been renewed to see we are not exiles waiting for a home—we are ambassadors of heaven (2 Cor. 5:20) with dual citizenship. We carry the Kingdom within us (Luke 17:21), bringing heaven to earth through our faith, prayers, and obedience.

So why do we live as if the Kingdom is out of reach? When...

👉🏾 Jesus Christ is our inheritance
👉🏾 Heaven lacks nothing.
👉🏾 The impossible becomes possible when we believe Him.

Jesus said: “Whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do.” (John 14:12). We cannot expect the do the greater works if we cannot do the same works.

We won’t shift atmospheres, pray bold prayers, or walk in power if we don’t see what heaven sees. We must reclaim childlike faith—where trust is simple, imagination is limitless, and God’s presence is enough.

I’ve wrestled with this recently, almost stepping away from writing and podcasting because the weight of doubt tried to silence me. But God! He met me in my weariness, reaffirmed His truth, and reminded me that my identity is secure in Him—not in the approval of others.

Beloved, the enemy is after the word because he knows its power and importance. His mode of attack is geared towards our identity. He is the king of identity politics, so don’t engage! Instead give him the Word, which is the sword of the Spirit, and he will get the point🗡️.

Fear may whisper lies, but God’s Word speaks louder. His truth prevails. If you’ve been battling doubt, take this moment wrap your heart around these three breath prayers grounded in Scripture:

I don’t know who else needs to hear this today, but the battle you feel coming for you—that mountain you are facing, the diagnosis that was given, the wayward child refusing to accept correction, the marriage where trust was broken, the friendship that has become entangled, the addiction, fear, failure, whatever it is—
It Is Not Yours, But God’s!

In His presence, she found peace,
And in His victory, her striving ceased.
The battle was never hers to claim,
But the Lord’s—
That His power and glory would forever be proclaimed!

Beloved, cease striving. Be still. Be enamored by His presence. The armor of God is not something we put on—it is something we are already in because of our position in Christ.

If you’re weary, take heart:
➡️ God is already fighting for you.
➡️ His grace is greater than your mistakes.
➡️ Your role? Stand firm, trust, and watch His victory unfold.

And let’s not exchange stirring about the issue for striving about the outcome. Let’s surrender, rest in Him, and let God be God. 🙌🏾

Lately, I find myself navigating a whirlwind of emotions—a familiar pattern whenever the Lord shifts me into a season of transition and the unknown. It feels as though my world is swirling, my footing unsteady like sand beneath me, yet there remains a steadfast Rock holding me firm when I’m too weak to stand. When we like Mary, take our place at the feet of Jesus, and we will see that He is breathtaking. Mary sat and listened. Mary’s obedience is a stunning example of our posture and that we receive the best thing when we choose the One thing (Luke 10v38-42).

Here is further revelation: this same Mary would perform one of the most radical acts, which we continue to talk about today. She poured out an expensive bottle of Nard and washed our Lord’s feet with her hair before He went to the Cross.

“It was Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was ill.” John‬ ‭11‬:‭2‬ ‭

What is so astonishing is on the third day of His burial women were coming to the tomb to do the very act of anointing Him, but they couldn’t for He had risen.

Hey Friends,

I thought this would be a quick quote and then off to the races🏇, but God had something different in mind. Hold tight to the end; I promise it will be worth it, as I greatly desire to impart some spiritual encouragement to bless you. Okay, let’s roll up our sleeves and dig in.

Believing God, at its core, is one of the rawest, most powerful, sacrificial, and exuberant acts of obedience.

𝒢ℯ𝓉 this, in doing so… it pleases Him. 𝒜𝓃𝒹 𝒸ℴ𝓃𝓈ℯ𝓆𝓊ℯ𝓃𝓉𝓁𝓎 𝒹ℯ𝒶𝓁𝓈 𝒶 𝒹ℯ𝒶𝓉𝒽 𝒷𝓁ℴ𝓌 𝓉ℴ 𝓉𝒽ℯ ℯ𝓃ℯ𝓂𝓎.

And the immediate byproduct is the blessing of rest because of His faithfulness!

When we choose to believe God, it is also an act of 𝓌ℴ𝓇𝓈𝒽𝒾𝓅 and releases a measure of 𝑔𝓁ℴ𝓇𝓎 that celebrates Him and produces joy within us. We glorify God and are blessed as we do what we are created to do.

When we live in light of this revelation, the 𝑔𝓇𝒶𝒸ℯ 𝓌ℯ 𝓇ℯ𝒸ℯ𝒾𝓋ℯ 𝒾𝓈 𝓃ℴ𝓉 𝒾𝓃 𝓋𝒶𝒾𝓃, 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒻𝒶𝒾𝓉𝒽 in Him becomes our way of life.

One more thing: as we continue to believe in Jesus, we often find our trust is followed by what some may call a test🤷🏾‍♀️. The enemy sometimes strikes to make us shrink back and remain in unbelief. It can present in many different forms; be vigilant by remaining in the word.

It can be something so small as 𝓃ℴ𝓉 blurting out the vision God told you to keep sacred for a season, or larger such as getting out of bed though you still physically feel the pain, stepping outside to feel the sun on your face when depression looms in the recesses of your mind, tithing or giving an additional offering when the balance in the account is bread crumbs, giving graceful word to the person you see as the author of your affliction; whatever it is, respond in faith. God sees it and is faithful to give more grace in each moment. He is inexhaustible.

This single act of obedience on your part isn’t for Him–ℐ𝓉’𝓈 𝒻ℴ𝓇 𝓎ℴ𝓊! God already knows the outcome. He is showing you what He has already deposited in you through the finished work of Jesus. It was there all along, you are just walking it out. ℐ𝓉 𝒾𝓈 𝒻𝒾𝓃𝒾𝓈𝒽ℯ𝒹!

I pray that throughout this week you’ve remained refreshed and secure in goodness of God towards you! Because you are so loved✞

I am so full, writing this to you, because you are loved, deeply loved by Jesus.

As I spend time with the Lord, I am overwhelmed by His kindness and His ways. I’m practicing living acutely aware of His presence and discovering His willingness to impart wisdom, dispense grace, and lavish love in each moment.

I encourage you to live enlight of His countenance, because He is facing you and watching over you. Indeed, He has His banner of love stationed over you because you are so precious to Him.

Therefore, respond accordingly by trusting Him. This is easily done by bringing everything to Him. Sitting with Him. Saturating yourself in Him.

Allowing Him to be God, because He is.

He will lift whatever has made your life heavy and exchange it with His perfect rest.

And just like that😮‍💨 a New Year. ℛℯ𝒶𝒹𝓎, 𝒮ℯ𝓉, ℛℯ𝓈𝓉, in the deeper things of God. The Lord continues to reveal (His) 𝓇𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉ℯℴ𝓊𝓈𝓃ℯ𝓈𝓈, our word from 2024 as foundational for 2025. Surprisingly, we received the confirmation of two additional words for the year, the first being: 𝒢𝓇𝒶𝒸ℯ and the second: 𝒫𝓇ℴ𝓂𝒾𝓈ℯ. We are ecstatic and feel pregnant with anticipation, knowing these words aren’t only for us but for everyone connected to us.

My husband and I prayed for the Lord to help us set the rhythm for the season and He gave us 𝑔𝓇𝒶𝒸ℯ 𝑔ℴ𝒶𝓁𝓈. These aren’t just ambitions—they’re invitations to step into deeper intimacy with God. They come at a cost: surrendering ourselves, abandoning earthly expectations, and embracing the eternal.

Here’s what we feel led to focus on:

1st 🏹 Live Loved by God. Let the unshakable truth of His love shape every thought, decision, and action.

2nd 🏹 Live in wonder and awe of Him. Stay filled to the brim with His presence, marveling at His beauty and glory.

3rd 🏹 Flow with the Spirit. Let gratitude pave the way, guiding our steps and filling our hearts.

4th 🏹 Embrace radical grace and hope. Expect to experience the fullness of God’s promises by faith.

5th 🏹 Relish the sacred of simplicity. Find joy in the beauty of a slowed-down, Christ-centered life.

6th 🏹 Cherish the present. Fully embrace each moment and treasure the people and blessings God has placed in our lives.

7th 🏹 Rejoice in the hope of His glory. Live intentionally and purposefully, grounded in the finished work of Christ and the wholeness we have in Him.

It is a privilege to live this abundant life, trusting that the Lord is orchestrating every step. Nothing is by chance—each moment is holy and sacred when surrendered to Him.

If I had to sum up our goals in one sentence, it would be to gaze upon the One who is invisible, experience and reflect His beauty, and dwell continually in His presence. ℛℯ𝒶𝒹𝓎, 𝒮ℯ𝓉, ℛℯ𝓈𝓉.

Hi Friends👋🏾, can you believe it, 2024 is a wrap!

Where did you see God in the past year? How did He reveal His character to you? What prayer did He answer maybe in an unexpected way? Where did you grow and in what ways did God stretch your faith? I would love to know.

I’ve had some time to pray, ponder, reflect, and write over the past month, and still need more time to sup in His presence and soak in the word, however, did want to give you something to consider as the dawn of a new year is on the horizon.

If you’ve been on TOT1 any length of time you probably know that this time of year is pretty exciting in our home as the Lord prepares the New Year with a New Word and Scripture for us to embrace. God is full of splendor and He is doing a new thing providing a theme and we are over the moon about it.

I will share our word and Scripture at a later date but definitely wanted to unveil the theme today: The Year of the Lord’s Favor.

I believe it will be a word that resonates for many who read my posts. God is at work and it is auspicious, and grand, and I am here for it!

In 2010, my husband suffered a back injury that was further complicated by surgery. The procedure left him with a multi-level titanium cage to stabilize his back and a pin in his pelvis. Since the beginning of this journey, nearly every day has been marked by residual pain—physically, emotionally, and mentally.

This year brought its own challenge when I encountered shingles. The only pain I’ve ever experienced that rivaled this was during emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction that resulted in a colectomy. And, if you know anything about Shingles, it doesn’t like to leave quietly; it attempts to leave lying symptoms of post-neuropathic pain in its wake. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving 🍁! I don’t think I’ve mentioned this before, but my husband and I live far from our family. Since we moved, holidays are often a quiet celebration with just the two of us and our fur-baby, Chopper 🐾. I haven’t introduced you to him yet, but I’ll share more about him in the new year—he’s quite the character! 🐕

In the past, we’ve felt a bit sad during the holidays because we couldn’t be with family. But this year is unexpectedly different. Over the past year, the Lord has continued to stretch and teach us in many ways. One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is that, in Christ, we get to decide beforehand how we will approach situations. So, we’ve decided to embrace contentment and rejoice in what the Lord has placed in our hands.

This viewpoint has been our position throughout the year, and it’s especially helping us in this season. I wanted to share this because there have been many challenging years for us, filled with tears. But shifting to a godly perspective is helping us navigate our emotions around special occasions.

Instead of dwelling on what we may be missing, we can rejoice in Who we have and the incredible place He has brought us to in this season of life.

I want to be clear: this is not to minimizing anyone’s loss or grief. Those feelings are real and valid. Yet even in the most challenging seasons, Jesus is at work, and we don’t want to miss the beauty of what He’s doing right now.

I hope this encourages you as you navigate this season, too.

Looking ahead, part of this next season requires my husband and me to be still before the Lord. We’ve heard the word He has given us for 2025, and we want to prayerfully reflect on what it means. With that in mind, I’m taking a social media break to focus on Jesus, spend time with friends, and enjoy the festivities.

I am praying for peace and joy over each of you in this season!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! I wanted to hop on here and tell you I didn’t forget. I do have something special 🎁 I am hoping to share soon that requires your participation🥳. So be on the lookout.

I know it’s late, so I will make this quick. I recently walked through an episode of Shingles, which was incredibly painful. I will go into more details at a later date. I want to say God is so good, y’all. He prepared me with His word before it ever became a thing.

I am continuing to soak in His love, hear Him, and glean dainties from our time together. He is teaching me a lot about perspective, the lens I use in life, and how I talk about what I am walking through. I noticed the questions I bring Him are changing the longer I follow Jesus. Have you seen something similar?

Well, tonight, I released a post called Pain–A Human Reality And The Truth: There Is Grace In The Blood. These are thoughts that came from time spent with Jesus in the word.

In this reflective post, we explore the tension between pain, faith, and the relentless schemes of the enemy. Through the lens of scripture, we are reminded that the Blood of Jesus speaks better things, granting us access to God’s continual presence and His unchanging goodness.

We examine the enemy’s subtle lies, the questions they provoke, and how to respond like Jesus—with truth and faith. Drawing insights from the Book of Job, we contrast self-righteousness with resting in God’s grace, highlighting the transformative power of viewing trials through the lens of the Cross.

This post challenges us to reject lies, embrace truth, and believe God’s report. It’s a call to faith, a celebration of our Mediator, Jesus Christ, and an invitation to experience freedom and victory in Him.

The Gospel is not just about forgiving our sins but also about being made the righteousness of God in Christ when we place our faith in Jesus. And if we preach a Gospel to ourselves and others but neglect the righteousness that comes through faith, we do a great disservice.

The Gospel changes the trajectory of our destiny. It cancels the enemy’s plans because we no longer stand in and of ourselves but on grace ground, positioned in the Blessing in Christ.

I’m not sure we will ever fully comprehend the magnitude and fierceness of the love that brought us into this sacred space or whether we will only taste the truth that we’ve gained Christ and He is the blessing.

I don’t want it to be misconstrued that Christianity is a pass for a pain-free life. It is not. However, our lives take a decisive turn when we realize Christ is the Treasure.

Being in Christ means we are one with His Person. Because we physically live here, being in Him doesn’t exempt us from suffering, but our position in Christ allows us to suffer well, altogether different being strengthened by the Promised Holy Spirit.

“Through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭2‬-‭5‬.

The Holy Spirit is ever-present in me since I believed. Yet, for many reasons I had not allowed myself to flow with Him. Initially, it was because I wasn’t taught about Him, His testimony and unfortunately later, I simply forgot.

I had forgotten the Lord. I had forgotten what He had done. I forgot who I am in Him, for me it was being surrounded by overwhelming circumstances that distracted me from the truth and at other times it was me running from the truth because it wasn’t the Answer I wanted to hear.

Nevertheless, He never forgot me; Jesus has always been with me, graciously nudging and reminding me of His presence.

In a world marked by uncertainty, as believers in Jesus, we have an opportunity to share the unshakable hope we have in Christ.

One of the greatest gifts we possess is a hope that remains firm and a resilience that shines, even when life shifts around us. This hope does not disappoint because it rests not in people, but in the Living God.

Let’s not walk unaware of the enemy’s tactics.. He would like nothing more than to distract us from the divine appointments set all around us, to share the love of God. Friends, let’s bring people the message of the Gospel—the invitation of eternal life, the incredible peace that comes with reconciliation to the Father, the hope of Christ’s return, and joy that defies all circumstances. Jesus is the Answer!

Let us not be deceived as Eve was, trading the finished work of Jesus for the illusion of security in things that will pass away. Jesus was pierced so that we might have unwavering peace, not only for ourselves but also to bless others. We are commissioned to give what we have freely received. As we feel the approach of His return, let us live with hearts open, sharing His love and light.

My prayer is that we, as God’s children, will be about our Father’s business—especially as we recognize the urgency of His prophetic timeline. Jesus was crushed so that we could receive the abundant oil of the Holy Spirit, poured into us. May we allow the Oil to work within us so that we do not shrink back into old ways, pushing agendas, but instead walk in boldness to proclaim all that the Lord has done.

The peace and joy of the Lord are a balm for this broken world. May we be generous in applying it wherever we go and may many come to know Him and be saved.

Hi Friends👋🏾 I am joining Keshia from @theencouragedwriter today as we focus on the importance of being Anchored in God’s Faithfulness in every season.

A lot is happening right now. There are wars and rumors of wars, the elections are in a state of flux🤷🏾‍♀️, and the holiday season is in full swing. For many, this means a heightened sense of anxiety because of the unknown. While others experience a sort of melancholy due to the resurfacing of trauma, loss, and feeling alone.

It’s even more important to slow down, pause, and reflect in times like these before diving into the next task. It is good to seek the Lord, because He is moving, and we don’t want to miss Him in the midst of all that is going on. He is our help and will untangle the emotions that are palpable and try to overtake us.

One way we endure seasons of intense pain and change is to saturate ourselves in His wonder and remain grounded in His faithfulness. In this way we are steeped in gratitude and hold tightly to His peace that surpasses understanding in the midst of chaos.

The Psalmist says, “O Lord God of hosts, who is mighty like You, O Lord? Your faithfulness also surrounds You” (Psalm 89:8), and the prophet Isaiah proclaims, “O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth” (Isaiah 25:1).

Our Abba Father is immutable. He is the constant our hearts long for in an ever-shifting world. Let’s take a moment to reflect on five precious aspects of His faithfulness. Each flows from His love and is wrapped with divine comfort, grace, and mercy.

It’s in His faithfulness that our faith finds its firm foundation.
