Friends, who or what are we conscious of when we pray? Are we inward-looking or focused on the world around us, or do we gaze at the altogether lovely One? The enemy is content when we are distracted by the cares of this world, especially during this time of sweet communion. He knows there is great power when we go down on our knees and lift our voices to the One who speaks what is unseen into the visible.
